How quickly can you get to Landmark?
Landmark is about 30 minutes from our shop. For emergencies we dispatch the nearest available technician, and same-day service is often available for repairs booked in the morning.
Do you charge a travel fee to Landmark?
No. Landmark is within our regular service area, so you pay the same rates as Winnipeg customers.
Do you service homes on private wells and septic systems?
Yes. We service well pumps, pressure tanks, water softeners and hot water tanks for farms and acreages around Landmark, and we clear drain lines on septic systems. (Septic tank pumping is handled by a septic hauler.)
How often should I test my sump pump?
Test it at least twice a year, and always before the spring melt. Pour a bucket of water into the pit and make sure the pump kicks on and drains the water outside. If your pump is more than 7–10 years old, consider replacing it before it fails.
Do I need a backwater valve in Landmark?
If your home is on Landmark’s town sewer and your basement is finished or has floor drains, a backwater valve is one of the best ways to prevent sewer backup during heavy rain. We can inspect your plumbing and tell you whether one makes sense for your home.
